iFiberOptics is a handy tool for quick conversion and calculating parameters commonly used in the optical communications field.

Main Features:

• Log Conversion for optical power and Extinction Ratio (ER)

• Conversion for average power, optical modulation amplitude (OMA) and Extinction Ratio (ER)

• Conversion for Bit Error Ratio (BER), Q-factor and Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR)

With lists of BER vs Power coordinates input by the user, plots of selected BER curves can be generated or visual comparison. Sensitivity value is also calculated based on the specified target BER.
